A software house in Riyadh, with its engineering team in Lahore
TintSol is a software house with an office in Riyadh, on King Fahd Road in Al Olaya, and its engineering headquarters in Lahore. We design and build web platforms, mobile apps and custom software for Saudi companies, in Arabic and English with full right-to-left layout. New briefs get a first reply within one business day.
TintSol has an office here.
Working hours · Arabia Standard Time (AST, UTC+3)
Riyadh is two hours behind Pakistan all year, so a 9:00–17:00 day in Riyadh runs 11:00–19:00 in Lahore and almost the whole working day is shared. The Saudi week runs Sunday to Thursday and Pakistan's runs Monday to Friday, so Monday to Thursday overlap fully; we agree at kickoff how Sundays are covered for reviews and releases.
Building software for Riyadh's digital push
Riyadh sits at the centre of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 programme, and much of that programme runs through software: government services moving online, banks and payment providers launching new products, and private companies replacing paper and phone workflows with apps their customers use directly. The demand is less about having a website and more about running real operations through software.
That changes what a Riyadh client needs from a software company. Arabic can't be an afterthought: layouts, forms, dates, numbers and search all have to work right to left from the first sprint. Payments have to clear with local cards and bank verification steps, and data often has to stay inside the Kingdom to meet Saudi data-protection requirements.
We built this kind of product for Makhdoom, an on-demand home-services marketplace for the Gulf with a customer web app, a worker app, an operations console and live dispatch, all bilingual. Our Riyadh office is where Saudi clients meet us; the Lahore team, two hours ahead on the clock, does most of the engineering.
Services
What clients here ask us to build.
Web Development
Customer portals, booking flows and internal tools that work as well in Arabic as in English.
02Mobile App Development
Riyadh customers book, pay and track from their phones, so the app is often the main product.
03Custom Software
Replacing spreadsheets, phone calls and paper approvals with systems built around how your teams actually work.
04Cloud & DevOps
Hosting and deployment set up for in-Kingdom data residency when your requirements call for it.
How we work
How an engagement runs from here.
- 01
Meet in Riyadh, build in Lahore
Discovery workshops and key reviews can happen at our Al Olaya office. The delivery team works from Lahore, and you have one named contact across both.
- 02
Arabic from the first wireframe
Every screen is designed in both directions from the start, so the Arabic product is never a translation layered on at the end.
- 03
Reviews inside the shared week
Demos and sprint reviews are scheduled Monday to Thursday, when both offices are working, so decisions don't wait out a weekend.
- 04
A first release, then a retainer
Most Riyadh projects start as a fixed-scope release with defined milestones and move to a retainer once the product is live. There is no rate card; we quote after a brief.
Industries
Where the demand is.
- FinTechRiyadh is the base for most of the Kingdom's banks and the new payment and lending players growing around them.
- Logistics & Supply ChainDispatch, delivery and field-service operations that need live tracking across a sprawling city.
- E-commerce & RetailRetailers moving from showroom and phone orders to Arabic-first online stores with local payments.
FAQ
Questions we hear here.
Does TintSol have an office in Riyadh?
Yes. TintSol has an office on King Fahd Road in Al Olaya, Riyadh, alongside its headquarters in Lahore, Pakistan. Riyadh clients can meet us in person for discovery and reviews, while most of the engineering happens in Lahore.
How do I choose the best software house in Riyadh for my project?
Look for shipped work that resembles yours rather than a wall of logos. Ask to see a live product running in Arabic with right-to-left layout, ask who will actually write the code and where they sit, and ask how hosting is handled if your data has to stay in the Kingdom. A good partner will also tell you plainly what they would leave out of a first release.
Can you build apps in Arabic with right-to-left layout?
Yes. Every surface of Makhdoom, the Gulf home-services marketplace we built, runs in English and Arabic with full right-to-left layout. We design both directions from the start instead of translating at the end.
How much does app development cost in Riyadh?
It depends on scope, and we don't publish a rate card. After a short brief we come back with either a fixed-scope quote broken into milestones or a retainer proposal for ongoing work, and most engagements start within 5–7 business days of that first brief.
Can our data be hosted inside Saudi Arabia?
Yes, where your requirements call for it. We can deploy to in-Kingdom hosting from cloud providers that offer it, or to your own infrastructure, and design the system around Saudi data-protection requirements. Your legal or compliance team should confirm exactly which rules apply to your data.
