An offshore development team for Australian companies, a few hours behind Sydney
TintSol is a software development company in Lahore, Pakistan, working with Australian businesses remotely; we have no office in Australia. Our morning overlaps your afternoon, so an offshore development team here can pick up work as your day winds down. We build web, mobile, AI and cloud software.
We work with clients here remotely.
Working hours · AEST (UTC+10) / AEDT (UTC+11) on the east coast; AWST (UTC+8) in Perth
Sydney and Melbourne are five hours ahead of Pakistan in winter and six in summer, when they move to daylight time. Our 9:00 start in Lahore is 14:00 or 15:00 in Sydney, so we share the east-coast afternoon. Brisbane stays on AEST all year, and Perth is only three hours ahead, which leaves most of its day shared.
Working with Australia across the Indian Ocean
Australian companies have long sent software work offshore to South and Southeast Asia, partly for capacity and partly because the time zones line up far better than with Europe or the Americas. Engineering salaries are high and senior talent is scarce outside the largest cities, so many businesses grow an offshore development team around a small local core.
Australian buyers tend to be direct about what they expect: who is on the team, what happens when someone leaves, and how personal information is protected under Australian privacy law. Many also expect accessibility to be handled properly, since public-sector and larger private clients increasingly require it.
The time difference can work in your favour. Feedback you give in your afternoon reaches us during our working day, and the result is ready when you start the next morning.

How we work
How an engagement runs from here.
- 01
Afternoon overlap, overnight progress
Live calls happen in your afternoon; our working day then carries on after yours ends, with a written update waiting in the morning.
- 02
A stable, named team
You know who is working on your product, and we keep the same people on it wherever we can.
- 03
Fixed scope or retainer
Scoped builds run on fixed milestones; ongoing products run on a retainer. Both are quoted after a brief, with no public rate card.
FAQ
Questions we hear here.
Does TintSol have an office in Australia?
No. We work with Australian clients remotely from our headquarters in Lahore, Pakistan.
How does the time difference with Australia work in practice?
We share your afternoon and keep working after you finish. With Sydney five or six hours ahead, a review at 14:00 your time is our morning, and changes are typically ready for your next working day. Perth clients get more overlap, at three hours' difference.
What should I look for in an offshore development team for an Australian business?
Prioritise team stability and transparency. Ask who exactly will work on your product, how knowledge is kept if someone leaves, how the team handles Australian privacy and accessibility requirements, and what a normal week of communication looks like.
Can you build accessible software for Australian clients?
Yes. We design and test against widely used web accessibility guidelines, covering keyboard use, screen readers, contrast and clear forms, as part of the normal build rather than a separate audit.
How do Australian engagements start?
Send a brief to hello@tintsolltd.com. You'll get a reply within one business day, then a fixed-scope or retainer proposal, and most engagements start within 5–7 business days of the brief.
